Decisive factor named as Tottenham Hotspur legend Harry Kane nears huge Man Utd transfer decision

Harry Kane is leaning towards staying with Tottenham Hotspur this summer and is likely to turn down Manchester United, a new report is suggesting.

Kane was at the centre of attention in the 2021 summer transfer window, when Manchester City tried to sign him. Ultimately, he remained with his current club – but the idea of him moving on later down the line has never faded.

This year, Manchester United may be more likely to move for the England captain. They are looking for a new number nine to succeed Edinson Cavani and Cristiano Ronaldo.

Naturally, Kane is someone they significantly admire. Recent reports have suggested he features high up their list of possible transfer targets for the summer.

But it is now believed he is more likely to continue working under Antonio Conte in north London. The Italian has Tottenham on course for Champions League football next season, which would be another persuasive factor if Man Utd miss out.

As one of the elite centre-forwards of his time, Kane will want to be playing in Europe’s top-level competition again. Tottenham have been outside it for a couple of years, but now are getting back on track.

Having Kane with them for a potential return to…
